I began my journey in art as a sculptor: starting with glass casting, stone sculpture, bronze casting & finally ceramic sculpture. From a hand built ceramic goldfish to a carved stone swan to a cast bronze eel, the main subject of my sculptures is aquatic life. By combining media such as stone, glass, bronze, clay or wood, I translate each living environment into a different stylized shape and form according to the look, texture and feel of the materials used.  Glass becomes a bubble & a wood burl becomes coral.  ​
